Q. This is your fourth appearance here. How did you feel out there? I heard some people calling you a star in the making already.
WILLIE MACK III: Yeah, I had fun out there. I missed a couple putts the last two days, but I think that momentum from last week in Detroit with all my family and friends kind of just came over to this week. I'm glad I shot a good one today.
Q. How much does that score -- walking off with that score and seeing big crowds, how much does that play a role in your motivation?
WILLIE MACK III: Yeah, for sure. Last week the energy was good. You'd get up-and-down for a good par or make a birdie, you'd hear some claps and cheers. It's amazing. I'll be able to play this weekend hopefully. My dad had to work the last two days, so he'll be able to come to the next two days.
Q. Tell me what's been working for you. To be homeless and get to this point, what's made it work for you?
WILLIE MACK III: Yeah, just hard work and never giving up, honestly. It's a tough road out here if you're not on the PGA TOUR, and just grinding on the mini-Tours, it can get tough. Just hopefully coming out here and showing that I can play, and hopefully I can play well the last two days.
Q. How have you gotten to this point where you can celebrate your success?
WILLIE MACK III: Yeah, just never giving up. There's going to be some tough times, not just for me but everybody. Everybody has their own struggles and things they have to worry about. Just kind of just have to go along, take each day as it is and hopefully it'll work out good in the end.
Q. (Indiscernible).
WILLIE MACK III: Yeah, it's great. It's great to see fans back at tournaments. This is only my second one with fans, but I'm just glad to see people back doing the things they used to do and having fun. I can't thank Clair enough for giving me this opportunity to play this week at the John Deere.
