Q. Another nice solid round to build on yesterday. What did you think about what you saw out there today?
RYAN MOORE: You know, it was very similar to yesterday. I controlled the ball pretty nicely, got myself out of position maybe a couple more times today than I did yesterday, but everything from driving and iron play and putting felt really solid. Just kind of all added up to a good score.
Q. Would you say your second shot on 5 was probably your best one of the day?
RYAN MOORE: Yeah, yeah, absolutely. We were kind of joking there that maybe once a day you just get that perfect number and that perfect club, and that was it. It was just a nice full pitching wedge and I knew I could just hit it and just aim right at it, and it ended up being a nice little tap-in there.
Q. Can you describe how difficult the ninth hole is here? You had an unfortunate stance there on your second shot.
RYAN MOORE: Yeah, that bunker is not in play for too many guys out here, but it is in play for me. I just mis-hit my drive just enough to kind of snag right up at the top of that bunker and end up in an unfortunate spot there. You know, tried to recover well and ended up having a decent chance at par. It's a tough golf hole, tough tee shot, tough second shot. There's nothing easy about it.
Q. Going into the weekend, there's the potential for a lot of rainy weather coming in. What kind of things are you looking to improve on from your first two rounds?
RYAN MOORE: I mean, to be honest, I just want to keep doing exactly what I did the last two days. You keep that pace and shooting 5-, 6-under each day, you're going to be right there in the mix on Sunday. Obviously I did the right things these first two, so the course and the weather might change a little bit, but just got to keep doing what I'm doing and that's putting it in the fairway out here. The rough is long, and I don't hit it very long, so I have to be in the fairway, and that gives me chances to be aggressive on my second shots.
