Q. Nice round today. Just walk us through it. You got off to a good start. What was working out there for you?
SCOTT BROWN: Yeah, drove it really well to start off with and then was able to hit the ball close with my irons and capitalize on the putting. Kind of a momentum carrying over from last week a little bit on Sunday's round. Started to see some putts go in, and just carried it over to this week a little bit.
Q. Did you change anything, work on anything?
SCOTT BROWN: Not really. Been working with my putting coach Tim Yelverton really hard on reading greens a little better. I've always kind of been a just use my imagination and kind of feel out the putt guy, and I've been really using a line on the ball the last few weeks and trying to read the greens just a hair better, a little more accurately. Just seeing the line well right now.
Q. How did the course play with the conditions? How was it out there?
SCOTT BROWN: It is wet, and it's playing longer today than it's played the last couple days. Obviously the ball was bouncing pretty good in the fairways. Not so much today.
I know you'll probably see some birdies, but I had some longer clubs in that I wasn't used to. In that case it's probably playing a little harder to get it close.
Q. (Inaudible.)
SCOTT BROWN: Obviously. That's what we play for, but at this point my FedExCup position I kind of need to win, so it kind of frees me up in a way. I have one goal, and it's to come in here and win.
Q. What's it going to take to win here tomorrow? What's your mindset?
SCOTT BROWN: Yeah, I mean, I think you're going to have to make a bunch of birdies again, especially if we get some more rain overnight, soften it up. You're going to have to be in attack mode here. Typically it's at least 20-under par or a little more. For me that's another seven for tomorrow if you look at it that way.
Q. What contributes to the volatility of the scoring here?
SCOTT BROWN: I think it's awesome that you've got a drivable par-4 coming in and kind of a short par-3, a reachable par-5, and then 18 is a tough hole, depending on where your tee shot goes. I think that's what creates the excitement.
Q. (Indiscernible.)
SCOTT BROWN: I would think that definitely plays a role. I mean, typically the last hole on a golf course is arguably the toughest hole coming in most of the time. I think a little bit of that, a little bit of pressure.
Q. Was today your best round on this golf course?
SCOTT BROWN: No.
Q. Do you remember what was?
SCOTT BROWN: 61.
Q. In which round?
SCOTT BROWN: Third round.
Q. What is it about you and Saturdays here?
SCOTT BROWN: I don't know. I have no clue. I wish I knew.
Q. It's been seven years since you've played here. Does that feel like an eternity?
SCOTT BROWN: Yeah, I was thinking about that today a little bit, but it does feel like a long time ago. But I was just trying to keep it going today, just trying to make a bunch of birdies, and I kept pressing myself to keep making birdies, keep making birdies.

SCOTT BROWN: Yeah, it does. It's been a tough year, but I've been trying to stay positive. I've got a good team around me saying just keep doing what you're doing, obviously the talk. But you just never know when it's your time.
