Q. Your thoughts on how you played today?
ZACH JOHNSON: Yeah, I played great today. Scorecard is probably not indicative of the quality of golf. Frustrating finish, to say the least, but I guess you could say if I teed off on that side and finished on 18, it would be a good finish. So it's golf.
The positives far outweigh any sort of blip or negative.
Q. How do you feel going into tomorrow?
ZACH JOHNSON: I've got to keep doing what I'm doing. I'm hitting a ton of fairways, giving myself a lot of opportunities, and ideally I need more putts to lip in instead of lip out.
Q. (Indiscernible.)
ZACH JOHNSON: Yeah, I just think you said it. I think it's the design of the golf course. I think the character, what you have here, it kind of reminds me of Hartford, actually, where the last six holes at Hartford you can birdie every one of them or you can go the other way in a heartbeat.
Quality shots are rewarded. That's really what it is. Quality shots are rewarded, errant shots are penalized. I mean, I say that, obviously that's the case anywhere. But here it's even -- it's polarized. You can make birdies coming in 13 on certainly easily, but the moment you get off on 14, 15 and obviously 18, you can go the other way.
The beauty of this place is it ain't over until it's legitimately over.
Q. (Indiscernible.)
ZACH JOHNSON: Everybody is talented out here. Anybody can win.
Q. (Indiscernible.)
ZACH JOHNSON: I think you've got to keep it simple. There's holes you feel like you've got to push it, push the pedal down. Depending upon where the tee box and the pin is on 14, you can push it. 17 you can push it. But they're set up so good you have to hit solid tee shots. I've always said this kind of feels like a first-shot golf course. You've got to get yourself in position and then you can be aggressive, and I'd say 14, 15, 17 in particular, even 18, you hit the fairway there -- today I hit pitching wedge in there. You hit the fairway there, you can be aggressive, especially if that pin is left and you want to draw it in. You can be aggressive, but you have to hit fairways, so it's a first-shot golf course.
