Q. Talk about your play today.
ADAM LONG: Ball-striking has been a lot better than it has been for pretty much all of 2021, so nice to be able to see my target and hit it and see the ball going reasonably at the target, which I haven't really been seeing a whole lot of lately. Nice to hit the ball well.
Q. Does it feel like it's within reach?
ADAM LONG: Yeah, certainly. I'm usually pretty comfortable making a lot of birdies. It's hard, but it's in a way a little less stressful when you're grinding for pars and bogeys and stuff it can be a little bit more of a grind. This is a little bit more of a relaxing, like make a lot of birdies and free it up and just keep shooting, keep shooting and keep grinding, so it'll be a fun day tomorrow.

ADAM LONG: Yeah, it just proves that I'm doing the right things, I'm working on the right things, I'm doing everything that I need to be doing, and part of it's mental and part of it's physical, and it's just all that coming together, it's nice to see.

ADAM LONG: Just going to have to keep making a lot of birdies. These guys are really good, and they're going to be making a lot of birdies, too, so going to have to make a lot just to keep up with them. Taking advantage of some of the birdie opportunities, and there's plenty of holes out here where par is a great score, so knowing when to play smart at the same time.
Q. Is there any particular shot that stood out to you today?
ADAM LONG: Probably birdieing 8. I hit a wayward shot on 7, kind of out of nowhere, kind of a weird shot. Almost made a great par, but bogeyed that hole. But to come back, 8 is kind of a narrow tee shot, one of the harder tee shots out here, to hit that in the fairway and hit a nice 9-iron close to the hole and make a putt, that was nice to -- like, be like, All right, we're still making birdies, everything is -- the train is still on the tracks.
