Q. Maverick, talk about the idea to buy the media some beer.
MAVERICK McNEALY: It's something I've seen guys do on social media a couple times here and there. It's my first -- my second year on TOUR, my first ace on TOUR, and I wasn't really sure what the protocol was, but it was one of the most fun shots I've hit in my career and thought it would be fun to celebrate with beers in the caddie tent because T-Mac gave me a great club there.
And Beers with the media, because you guys cover that, and I've got that shot saved on my phone which will be fun to look at for a while.
And also the maintenance crew. Whoever cut that cup on 16 I'm a huge fan of.
Q. You played well and you seemed like you had a great week. Talk about your experience.
MAVERICK McNEALY: I'm a huge fan of this golf course, huge fan of this tournament. I played here on a sponsor's exemption in 2017 adds an amateur, and I've been looking for a chance to come back. Wasn't held last year, my rookie year, so I was really excited to come back.
We got two different golf courses. Firm and fast on Friday, which was really fun to play this golf course like that, and then a little softer and some challenging weather conditions the last couple days.
I love the Midwest. My dad grew up here. We have some family roots out here, and I love coming back.
