THE MODERATOR: Brendon, obviously not the day you were hoping for, but just kind of take us through. It obviously took something special for Sepp today.
BRENDON TODD: Yeah. If you told me when I teed it up that I shot 3-under and Todd, the guy I was playing with, I would have thought I had a pretty good chance to win.
So obviously Sepp went out will there and played an unbelievable round. Hats off to him. Really happy for him. He is a friend of mine.
Q. The first putt at 16, was that quicker than you anticipated?
BRENDON TODD: I just forgot. I've had that putt before and ran it passed. It's just faster than it looks. I was kind of line-locked knowing that I probably needed a birdie or two coming in, and so I just forgot how fast it was.
I thought I hit a good putt on the second one. It didn't break back, which I thought it would have.
Q. Were you watching the leaderboards out there this afternoon, and if you were, what was going through your mind when you saw what Sepp was doing well ahead of you?
BRENDON TODD: So on 8 or 9 I saw that Sepp had gotten to 22- or 23-under, which was obviously amazing. I was pretty amazed, but I did say in my interview yesterday, there's been a 59.
Anybody could have gone out there and shot a great round today, and he did it.
Then walking off 15 I just told my caddie, because I heard people chirping in the crowds, I don't know what Sepp finished at, but let's go play three good holes.
He is like, well, he made double on the last so, you are one back. So that might have ramped up the pressure a little bit and got me maybe even more aggressive there on that putt on 16. That kind of backfired a little bit.
Q. Did you feel a little bit like Nostradamus talking about the 59 at that point?
BRENDON TODD: I did a little. I was, like, he is about to do it, and I said it yesterday. It didn't work out that way, but he still played a heck of a round, and it was enough to win the tournament.
Q. Can you tell us a little bit about Sepp, what he is like as a player, what he is like as a guy in the locker room, what he is like as a friend?
BRENDON TODD: I've known him since he was in college at Georgia. He is just a great guy. Good personality, always happy for those around him.
He is a heck of a ball striker, and he has worked hard on his short game the last few years with his coaches. So it's really starting to show with the level of golf he has played the last two years.
When he gets in contention, he is lights-out, and he is not scared to win. I'm really happy for him. He is a great guy.
Q. Does he fit right in at the "Animal House" out there in Geneseo?
BRENDON TODD: No doubt. He is always up for playing any game, and he has always got the upper hand. If somebody is going to play a trick on somebody, it's going to be him.
Q. What's his best one?
BRENDON TODD: Well, his most common one is this ice block melt where he doesn't give you knuckles, but his best one is probably scaring Greyson Sigg.
Greyson will come in the door, and he will go hide, and Greyson will turn the corner, and he will just frighten him. So it's pretty fun to watch.
