Quick Quotes

Q. A fight to the bitter end. Just one off for the playoff. What are you feeling?

DAVID LIPSKY: Yeah, you know, honestly I didn't have my best stuff today. My putter really kept me in it. The shot on 17 was unbelievable to give myself a chance to force a playoff or even win.

Overall, yeah, disappointed the putt didn't drop on the last or the tee shot on the last; pretty happy with the week. And you know, my situation, I'm gaining FedExCup points, money, all that good stuff.

I'm going to look at the positives and take that from this week.

Q. Said you didn't have your best stuff this week, but still a great finish. What's the takeaways of that?

DAVID LIPSKY: I mean, honestly, like especially on a day like today with all the pressure, all the -- you know, everyone is aware of what can and can't happen.

I'm just really happy how I had a really good mindset, kept plugging away, and grinded it out.

Q. Walk us through that closing stretch with 17 and 18. What were you talking, what was the game plan knowing you needed to post a number?

DAVID LIPSKY: I knew it was probably going to be 18 was going to be tied for the lead. I just needed to get that drive off on 17. You can't hit the green if you don't hit the fairway.

Pulled off the drive and hit an unbelievable like punch 3-wood. I started on the left side of the fairway and had to work it around the trees, and I somehow pulled it off. I think it went to like eight feet or something and holed the putt.

Obviously if I don't hole that or don't pull off the shot I'm not in the situation I'm in on 18, but I mean, I'm super grateful that I was in that situation and that's a positive for sure.
