Quick Quotes

Q. You're one of two players to finish the round bogey free. What do you attribute your good play to?

BRANDON HAGY: I hit my driver well, got in good position, hit a lot of solid putts and when I did miss the greens my short game was pretty solid, kind of kept it around the hole to give myself some good makeable opportunities. Yeah, it was good.

Q. What are the aspects of your game you've been working on that translate really well here?

BRANDON HAGY: Yeah, I think my driving efficiency is pretty strong. I've been able to hit it pretty far and keep the ball in front of me, which has been great. My iron shots have gotten a little bit better. I mean, really across the board there's just been little things that I've been working on that have helped.

I made a couple longer putts through the first 36 holes, which kind of helps. You're kind of thinking a two-putt and you end up making a birdie, that kind of gets the momentum going for the round.

Q. Speaking of momentum, being in this position headed into the weekend, how do you prepare going into tomorrow?

BRANDON HAGY: Grab some lunch, I'll just do a little bit of practice. I have my kind of few drills that I do with my launch monitors and a little bit of putting, and yeah, nothing crazy. Don't want to use all your swings while practicing, you want to try and save some of your energy. Yeah, nothing too different than what a normal tournament would be.

Q. Your overall thoughts on the golf course here?

BRANDON HAGY: Yeah, I think it's in really great shape. The greens are running awesome. There's a little bounce in some of the holes which is good to see. Barring any sort of difficult weather I think the course should be set up really nice for the weekend.
