Quick Quotes

Q. Six birdies, couple bogeys at the end. How do you frame your day today?

CAM DAVIS: I mean, I did really well for the most part. Coming off the weekend last week where things kind of fell apart, I was proud of the way I kind of turned around and had another good round getting back into it this week.

Frustrating finish, but to be honest, I hit the ball really quite well in the gusty wind and made a couple putts as well, so 3-under is a decent score with what we had.

Q. And you talk about last week, the experience of being right up at the top of the leaderboard. What do you take from last week? What did you learn that you apply this week?

CAM DAVIS: I think, I mean, if you're playing well, just keep doing what you're doing. Regardless of what the situation is, just concentrate on the little things that got you there in the first place.

Last week was just swing got a little bit out. I think it was borderline to start with and I was getting away with it. Started letting a few mistakes creep in and I had a few things I needed to clean up.

Feel like did I a pretty good job, so now it's just continuing to stay on top of that stuff.

Q. And you're playing a golf course where traditionally scores are low. How important is patience around here, where if you have a you few holes you don't make birdies to remain patient?

CAM DAVIS: There is plenty of opportunities. It wasn't that easy today. I think when there are usually a lot of low scores it's not as much wind and the greens and fairways might be a little softer.

It's actually pretty firm and fast now, which is great. It means the scores might not be quite as good and the misses you have might be tough to get up and down or back on the green.

So 3-under is I think going to be just fine today. Try and get a few more birdies and a few lower scores as we go on.
