Quick Quotes

Q. Bogey-free you just mentioned felt easy. What's it like to have one of those days?

MICHAEL GLIGIC: Yeah, it was nice. Just kind of hit ball where I was looking. Gave myself lots of looks. I think I only missed one green and was able to make a few putts.

Had a nice two-putt birdie on 17 coming in. Other than that, yeah, it was fairly stress-free. Just need to find a way to do that the next three days.

Q. A lot guys we talked to this afternoon talked about the tough conditions in the wind, and it didn't seem to bother you. Did it get easier as the day went on?

MICHAEL GLIGIC: Yeah, I think the first I don't know what it was, maybe first 12 holes it was playing pretty good. Definitely the first nine. It kind of calmed down the last maybe five, six holes.

Got lucky in that sense that we got some easier conditions. That's how it is.

Q. I think it's your career low round, a position that you're maybe not in a ton. Two shots off the lead. How do you attack tomorrow?

MICHAEL GLIGIC: Just the same thing. Just go out and try and do the same thing. I'm sure everyone says that, but it's kind of the truth. We all have our game plans, and just going to stick to it and hopefully can keep hitting good shots and giving myself some looks and make some putts.

Q. What was working for you today? I know you hit some nice putts. Was that the strongest part of the day?

MICHAEL GLIGIC: I just hit it nice. I never really got into trouble. Hit a lot of fairways. Hit I think maybe 17 or 16 greens and just never really got into too much trouble.

Yeah, just giving myself a lot looks. Some of them fell, and hopefully we can do that tomorrow.

Q. When you look at what some guys did in the morning, do you have a number in mind with maybe the way the course can play a little easier in the morning? What's your mentality?

MICHAEL GLIGIC: No. Somebody told me it might rain tomorrow morning, so I don't know what the weather is just yet. You know, every day is different. It's a new challenge. Just wake up tomorrow, see what it's like, and go from there.
