Q. Plus-10 on the opening round. Really close even to making that more on 18. Tell me about that opening round.
SCOTT PIERCY: (Indiscernible) bogeys. (Indiscernible) eagle. (Indiscernible) It kind of really kind of picked me up and I was playing solid (indiscernible).
Q. Past champion of the event. What makes this event special?
SCOTT PIERCY: Obviously a different golf course than it was before so (indiscernible). I guess I like playing at altitude. It's my home state. So that's a good thing. (Indiscernible).
Q. What do you think the first time back only second time it's been at this golf course, the par-4s and par-5s, the big point with this format?
SCOTT PIERCY: I think it's a second-shot golf course. Feel like the greens are pretty tricky, got a lot of fingers. They're big but they're small. So it's usually like three or four areas on each green. And you've got to be on with your iron game, so you have good putts for birdie. So making sure I know where to miss, where I want to hit it, stuff like that.
Q. Consecutive years making the playoffs. We're down to the final last couple of events. How important is it with 300 points on the line this week?
SCOTT PIERCY: I mean, it only takes a week, right? So every year is a little different. This one hasn't been so good. But the game's (indiscernible) and play (indiscernible) today.
Q. You mentioned you're a Vegas native. Looks like you have a following. Family out here this week?
SCOTT PIERCY: Yeah, my family is up here and I've got a bunch of buddies who live up here. It's a nice little following, so that's good.
