Q. Just start with last week, great finish at Barbasol, T27, particularly after playing Ireland, as well. How do you feel your game traveled and what was your assessment of this week?
NIKLAS NØRGAARD MØLLER: Such a messy week because I didn't get my clubs. Still don't have them. Traveling from Ireland, getting there, I know my clubs are still in Dublin, so that's a bother. Luckily TaylorMade was quick and made some new ones. They didn't have a truck there so they had to send them from San Diego, but it turned out fine. It was just a long week because of all the delays. I could feel it Sunday. Unfortunately I didn't have the best Sunday. Kept it together, but still, it's a birdie course, and shooting par you fall behind.
But overall fun experience, and just looking forward to try and improve this week.
Q. Speaking of birdies, you lead on the DP World Tour in birdies this season. Different format this week, perhaps rewards birdies a little bit more. What are your feelings going into this week?
NIKLAS NØRGAARD MØLLER: Actually had a long talk to my coach about it; is there any reason to change strategy because if I go out and make 18 points I have zero points. Nine birdies, nine bogeys I have nine points. We talked about just make a good strategy from the tee and then be more aggressive on the lines, taking more pins, and be a little bit more aggressive with the putting because my thing is I make enough birdies but I also make too many bogeys and double bogeys.
I think a little bit more aggressive, but then otherwise not much difference.
Q. Aggression, we're at altitude this week; what's the TrackMan saying?
NIKLAS NØRGAARD MØLLER: Crazy numbers. I just put my driver up one degree to get it to spin more in this thin air. Normally my driver goes around 290 meters, 290 in the air, and the latest stats we have we're at 330 meters carry. You want to keep it straight because otherwise we're never going to find it out there.
Q. Different golf course this week; more reminiscent of some of the courses we get in Europe with the tree lines. What a place this is, eh?
NIKLAS NØRGAARD MØLLER: It's one of the best I've played in such a long time. It's a really, really good golf course. It's just good. Can't say any more.
