TOM VAILLANT:
Q. +9 for the third round. How would you assess the third round?
TOM VAILLANT: It was a nice round. Not easy. A lot of wind at the beginning.
And then I mean, when you have time in the morning to think about the day it's never easy to start.
So it's a good day. Very steady. That was the main goal.
Q. Similar situation tomorrow: Playing in the afternoon in the wind. Thoughts going into the final round?
TOM VAILLANT: Just staying steady as much as I can and trying to avoid mistakes; keep the ball in the right spot and stay patient.
We have a lot of opportunities here to make birdies, so just giving me as much as possible and we will see.
Q. Mentioned avoiding mistakes. What's the balance between avoiding mistakes but playing aggressive with this format?
TOM VAILLANT: You have to play aggressive but to make birdies you have to putt for birdie. For me the main goal is giving me as much birdie putt as I can. I know if I'm putting well I'm going to make some.
The main goal is this. I'm not going to change the game plan.
Q. Any past tournaments or experiences you'll be drawing upon with the final groupings tomorrow?
TOM VAILLANT: Yeah, I had great experience last year in Japan at the )indiscernible) links. I had couple last three groups last year, so I have learned that only thing to do is doing the same thing is at first three rounds, sticking to my game plan. Just having only kind of like mindset goal and the game will see.
I can't control the other players. I just can control my attitude. Just try to get the best one tomorrow.
