Q. A fight to very end. How you feeling?
ERIK VAN ROOYEN: Mixed emotions. Really happy with how I fought. Left some shots out there the last few days unfortunately with the putter, but can't expect to make everything, right? So maybe I'm a bit too hard on myself. Really proud of myself.
Q. Always gets windy in the afternoon. Was there a number in mind entering the final round? Still hold the record.
ERIK VAN ROOYEN: Yeah, right. I knew sort of 45 and upwards, which I think ended up being 47, so, yeah, I was surprised when we got through hole 12 and I saw Ryan was at 48 points. That's really good playing from him.
But I told Alex, anything can happen, and we gave ourself every opportunity to make some birdies down the stretch. Yeah, hats off to Ryan.
Q. With this format, not your typical, what was that strategy talk with the final two holes knowing what you could possibly do?
ERIK VAN ROOYEN: Oh, yeah, I mean, even before that on 15, I'm looking at him and I'm like, we can still do this. We can eagle 15, birdie the par-3, eagle 17, and then birdie 18 and that will have a chance.
Started off good with the eagle on 15. Yeah, the lie on 17 unfortunately wasn't great. I hit a great tee shot in there. I was just in between whether I should bump the chip or flop it on there. It was so heavy, so I thought the flop shot was the best answer and unfortunately didn't pan out that way.
Q. Mentioned the putter change. Had a great note to end the week on 18. What are you seeing or liking with your putter this week?
ERIK VAN ROOYEN: Yeah, I'm going to take that and run. I've been so hard on myself, especially after yesterday. I missed so many short ones kind of ten feet and in.
Man, patience isn't my strongest suit, so really proud with how patient I stayed, and obviously Alex on the bag being so good.
So nice to make a few coming down the stretch.

ERIK VAN ROOYEN: Yeah.
Q. What's the final push of the season?
ERIK VAN ROOYEN: Yeah, I've done it before. I seem to be peaking at a really good time, so bring on Minnesota.
