THE MODERATOR: Opening round 16. Different format for the week. How did you feel about your round?
ALEXANDER LEVY: I'm really pleased. I played really good golf. Yeah, it's a different format, but it's nice to play like this sometimes. You just focus to hitting good shots and just see what happens.
THE MODERATOR: No blemishes on the scorecard. Did this format allow to you play a little bit more aggressive?
ALEXANDER LEVY: Yeah, but I say to myself, I'm still going to play the same. Yeah, I'm really pleased to have a bogey-free round. It's two in a row with last week. So I'm really pleased with that.
THE MODERATOR: You mentioned last week. Entering the week with top 10. How are you feeling about your game, what's feeling the strongest, what part of your game?
ALEXANDER LEVY: Yeah, it's true. I didn't play for one year. I was injured last year. Last week I played good. My first top 10 of the year. It gives me confidence. Yeah, I'm really pleased with what I did last week and gives me confidence for this week. So, yeah, it's nice to be in America. American dream.
THE MODERATOR: What injury are you battling back from?
ALEXANDER LEVY: My lower back. So, yeah, it was tough to don't play for nine months, but, yeah, I'm happy to play good golf again.
THE MODERATOR: Making your first start here at this tournament. You've been in Tahoe area before at all? Been able to explore at all?
ALEXANDER LEVY: Yeah, it's the first time, but it's really beautiful. I really like this place. Yeah, the lake is beautiful, the golf course is amazing. I'm really happy to be here and just enjoying playing golf.
