Q. Bogeys never taste good, especially on 18, but you are moving on and advancing to the BMW Championship. Just your reaction to how you played today and moving on?
ALEX NOREN: Yeah, I was predicted 72nd going into today, and the weather was so iffy, so I'm happy we got to play today. I honestly didn't think we would be able to but the course drained unreal. I've never seen a drier course after I don't know how many inches of rain, and the greens played softer but they rolled good. I took advantage of it early and had great round. I'm very, very excited, yeah.
Q. How much did you look at scoreboards while you were out there?
ALEX NOREN: It's tough. It's a little bit easier maybe the first few and then you have some tough holes in the middle of the round playing from, well, 9, 10, 11 is not easy, but then you know the par 5, 13 is coming up, and 14 is not that long. So I kind of knew I wasn't going to win, but a good chance for a good finish, and that's all I tried to do, moving up to next week, yeah.
Q. Also moving within striking distance of the top 30. Playing well today helped you get closer to now and now know you can have a good shot at getting into the top 30?
ALEX NOREN: Yeah, last year, I think I was 53rd, in 2019, 43rd. So I've never been to Atlanta, so that would be huge, yeah.
