Q. Your thoughts on advancing to the BMW Championship?
HAROLD VARNER III: Yeah, I feel like I keep doing this, so it's good. But I'd like to come here and be automatically there. It is what it is. I feel like I'm playing well. Just got to drive it a little better.
But yeah, a good week. Had to have it. I'm glad the season is not over but obviously want to play well next week and give myself a chance to get into East Lake.
Q. I know the fact that you are in this position a lot, you're obviously playing well, but you need that extra little boost to get to BMW but does it feel good to know that you've done it a couple times?
HAROLD VARNER III: It's funny you say that. It does not feel any better. The nerves are the same. I don't know, I wish they could go away because you've done it before but it just hasn't happened yet. Today was a grind and just hung in there. Just obviously advancing was key.
Q. Did you have a number in mind today that you feel like you needed to be at?
HAROLD VARNER III: My goal every day is to shoot in the 60s, some form, some fashion. 3-under today is really good and obviously with it windy, the scores are still lower than figured but where I was driving it today, I'll take what I shot today.
Q. What will the next couple days look like for you?
HAROLD VARNER III: It's awesome. You get there, wheels on the ground and get there rolling. I don't know if I'm in the Pro-Am. I doubt I am. It's whatever. We'll just figure it out. I usually travel on Wednesdays, Tuesdays, anyway, so it will be a normal week for me.
