Q. 11 will sting but overall how would you assess your day and the fact that you are moving on to the BMW?
ERIK VAN ROOYEN: Really happy to go to BMW obviously. That was the goal. But poor day. I hit it really bad to be honest. I was kind of feeling like I was fighting right the whole day, and then sniped one left on 11, in a place you can't miss it. That's disappointing.
I tried to paddle back after that and make some birdies, obviously knowing that I probably was out of it at that point for winning the tournament, but there's point on the line to move up.
At the end of the day happy to be moving to BMW.
Q. Short turnaround now; a course enough never been to.
ERIK VAN ROOYEN: I've never been there, no.
Q. How will that help, the short turnaround, getting ready for Thursday?
ERIK VAN ROOYEN: Massive. I think overall my game is in great shape. It was great to be in the hunt this week, final group. That's all positive. Looking forward to put myself in position come this weekend.
Q. How much did the win help you, being in that position, knowing that you can get it done?
ERIK VAN ROOYEN: Absolutely, it's massive. Any time you're in that position you can take confidence from it, no matter what tournament it is. Yeah, I'm cruising and I'm pumped for this week.
