Q. I know it's a long wait to hit one putt but well worth it the way you started. Fantastic 36 holes so far.
SERGIO GARCIA: Yes, I would have loved to knock it stone dead on that putt and probably finished before they called it, but unfortunately I left myself a little bit of work there. But nice to come back out and be positive and hit a great putt and make it and just kind of wrap it up and move on to tomorrow.
Q. Putter has looked very comfortable here the first couple days. These greens are perfect. But even more so off the tee, I have to imagine this is a golf course when you arrived you said, I can put driver in my hands a lot around here and really take advantage of that club?
SERGIO GARCIA: Yes, obviously everybody knows that I love hitting my driver, and I try to hit it as much as I can obviously when the occasion asks for it.
Yeah, if I'm feeling good, which I've been driving the ball well all year, I did the same thing these first two days, and I've just got to keep doing more of the same.
Q. Everybody is looking at the low scores, and obviously you have to continue making birdies. You haven't made a bogey, either. When you're trying to go low, bogeys can be disastrous. How proud are you of your bogey-free start over two days?
SERGIO GARCIA: Yes, that's something I'm very proud of, but like you said, you still have to make a lot of birdies, so it's not like you can just hit in the middle of the greens and make par and go to the next because you still lose ground that way. It's nice to be able to make some birdies and keep the bogeys out of the scorecard and make two or three really nice par saves.
If I want to get picky, just there's three par-5s that I had good drives on and unfortunately didn't take advantage of them, but unfortunately that's going to happen sometimes, I guess.
Q. How much confidence do you take from being able to put two really great rounds together?
SERGIO GARCIA: Yes, without a doubt. It's a good start. Obviously conditions are great. Greens are very good. Fairways, because they're soft, they're playing fairly wide. A lot of good scores out there with what Bryson and Patrick did.
But I'm keeping up with them a little bit, and a lot of good golf, and hopefully I can keep doing that throughout the weekend and see what happens.
Q. What were the key moments for you today that created some good momentum?
SERGIO GARCIA: Well, I think funny enough, probably -- obviously made a nice long putt on the first, but I think key moments for me today were probably the par putt save on 7 from probably about five or six feet and then another one on 8 from probably about seven or eight feet. Those kind of putts kind of keep your round going and keep your spirits up, and it was important to do that.
Q. As you look to the next two days, what are going to be the most important things in your game outside of putting to help continue this streak?
SERGIO GARCIA: No, just keep doing more of the same thing. I've been driving the ball very well, hitting my irons fairly well. Probably a little bit better yesterday than today. But a lot of good shots. Gave myself a lot of good looks, and if I can stay consistent with my putting and the way I've been striking it, anything can happen.
