Q. Corey, 68, nice start. If we can get some comments on your round.
COREY CONNERS: Yeah, it was a solid round. I feel like I hit the ball really well, gave myself a lot of looks for birdie, pretty stress-free round for the most part. Yeah, certainly would have liked to have converted more of the chances that I had, but solid start, and yeah, feel like if I can keep hitting it like that, I'll be able to --
Q. Four birdies today. Any of those stand out?
COREY CONNERS: I hit a really nice shot to 15, really long, tough par-3. I hit a really nice, smooth 4-iron. Was kind of between clubs but was able to use the slope behind the hole. Got that in there to about five or six feet behind the hole, and that was a nice 2 to write down.
Q. Seeing the golf course for the first time this week, did it play like you were expecting it to play today?
COREY CONNERS: Yeah, it definitely did. I feel like -- I felt like if I hit it like I could, I'd hit a lot of fairways and a lot of greens, and did that today. Hopefully can continue doing that.
Yeah, if it keeps firming up, I think it'll get a little bit more challenging, but pretty much played as I expected today.
Q. You're right near that number to get to East Lake next week. Is that on your mind and how much would that mean to make it three out of your last four years?
COREY CONNERS: Yeah, obviously it's a huge goal at the beginning of the year to make it to the TOUR Championship. I would say I've had a solid year so far to give myself a chance, and just trying to have some fun this week, keep playing like I did today, and hopefully can play my way into the TOUR Championship.
