Q. Brian, you're in position again there, and with the winds today, was it about keeping yourself in position?
BRIAN HARMAN: Yeah, golf course played really tough. I thought I was fortunate to get out of there with 3-under. Hit some really good shots. I've got to drive it a little bit better if I'm going to have a chance tomorrow.
Q. What do you think it's going to take tomorrow? Do you have a score in mind? Being in that position you're in, that final group, second-to-last group, you're going to be able to see what it's going to take, right?
BRIAN HARMAN: Yeah, just try to shoot the lowest score I can, see if it's good enough. That's all I can do.
Q. Talk to me about the course's changes from the first two days to what you saw today and how you were able to stay sturdy and fire another good score.
BRIAN HARMAN: Yeah, the last time we were here was 2020. This is a little bit more indicative of the way it played, a little firmer, a little harder to get it on the fairway, a little harder to get it on the green. I enjoy it in this condition more, and I think tomorrow will be more of the same.
Q. With the temperatures expected to heat up, does your mentality change going into tomorrow?
BRIAN HARMAN: No, no. There's some great players all around the lead, so I know I'm going to have to have a really good day to have a chance. I'll try to rest up and just play the best I can tomorrow.
Q. You've been putting really well. A couple guys mentioned towards the end of the day the greens started to get a little funky. What did you see out there?
BRIAN HARMAN: Yeah, they're starting to firm and crisp up. Some of the footprints and stuff are a little bit more permanent, I guess. But it was very puttable, I thought.
Matt Fitzpatrick made a lot of really nice putts on the back nine. If you hit good putts, you've got a good chance around here.
Q. How much does it help playing with somebody who's going like Fitzy was today?
BRIAN HARMAN: Well, it certainly helps. You're not looking for any golf balls. He struck it beautifully. Seems like every time I play with him, he plays a nice round of golf.
Especially this time of year, a tournament this late, it's hard to find a guy that's not pretty much in form.
It's been a great tournament. Looking forward to tomorrow.
Q. You admittedly came in with a little rust last week. Are you feeling like your form was pretty much what we saw at Hoylake or pretty close?
BRIAN HARMAN: Yeah, I'm really hitting my short irons well this week. I've hit a lot of nice approaches. I haven't been driving the ball quite as well as I would like. I've been scrambling really well and making some pars, so I've really got to clean that up to have any kind of chance tomorrow.
