Q. Matt, how would you generalize your day today?
MATT FITZPATRICK: Yeah, played great. Can't do anything about 61. I did just see Viktor, I called him a little s---. But for me, just really pleased again that I played really well final round in contention with World No. 1, and I didn't lose it. Someone else came from behind and won it.
Can't do anything about that.
Q. You're the only one who ended up playing his way into the TOUR Championship. How much confidence do you bring to East Lake next week?
MATT FITZPATRICK: Yeah, plenty. I feel like my game is definitely in better shape than it was, and yeah, looking forward to getting to next week and working on it some more, and hopefully still progressing.
Q. What did you say to Viktor, and did you see a 61 being shot this week?
MATT FITZPATRICK: Yeah, I think after the rain on Monday or Tuesday, I did see one. I'll be honest, it was softer than I thought it was going to be today. I was hoping for it to be a bit firmer. But can't knock it. It's so impressive.
Q. When you grabbed him on the shoulders there, what did you say?
MATT FITZPATRICK: I said he was a little s---.
