Q. Akshay, right on bubble there today. Just describe the fight and kind of how it went for you.
AKSHAY BHATIA: Yeah, it was tough. I mean, I started out great. Then that middle part, you know, missed couple putts and was in a divot on 11, which was not great. That's a birdie opportunity.
And then 12 is just a hard hole.
13 missed ed another putt.
14 missed fairway.
15 missed a fairway.
16 missed the fairway.
17 was just playing ridiculously hard. It was 207 yards to a pin that you can't access.
Just a tough, tough finish. You know, this one is going to sting.
Q. Was it on your mind playing that back nine?
AKSHAY BHATIA: Yeah. I just feel like maybe I didn't do a great job. I think we could have done a better job with the mindset of, again, just trying to play golf and not trying to protect. It felt like that in a way. You know, that's part of the learning experience.
Q. Still an outside chance depending on how a couple guys go, do you plan to watch any of it?
AKSHAY BHATIA: No. I think again, just try and make myself feel pretty bad after this finish.
Q. We had talked way earlier in the week about just whenever the season ended it was going to be nice to have some time to kind of reset, get your priorities the way you went them. Just kind of what is that process going to be like for you the next month, two months until you play again?
AKSHAY BHATIA: Yeah, definitely just unwind and hang out with my fiancée, my dogs. Probably do some wedding planning, because I've done absolutely nuts.
Then, yeah, just relax and see what I want to do this fall.
Q. That putt on 18, take us through the read.
AKSHAY BHATIA: Yeah, tough pin to get to. Again, missed the fairway there and really thought I made that putt. It was perfect speed and just barely missed the cup.
If it's meant to be it's meant to be. I just feel like it would've been an awesome sorry of everything happening yesterday and feeling comfortable with where my position was after I finished today. It is what it is.
Again, probably going to make myself feel pretty bad about this finish, but get over it eventually.
Q. What part of the wedding planning do you think you would excel at?
AKSHAY BHATIA: Food tasting is probably my expertise. I think we did most of that. Just got to get my suit or tux sized and everything.
So that will be fun. See my friends and get that side of the -- the guys' side going.
Q. Figuring out what you're going with the car yet?
AKSHAY BHATIA: Yeah, actually, my oldest sister -- I was going to give it to my caddie obviously, but my oldest sister has two kids, one of her kids is disabled and so their car right now is not in great working form. I figured they needed it a lot more than I do. It's a pretty cool gift for me to be able to do that for her and the kids.
Even though I don't get to see them much, they're excited and I'm very excited and it makes me feel good about that decision.
