Quick Quotes

Q. Talk me through 14.

ADAM HADWIN: Yeah, I mean, it's a good pin on the back right. I had to take some off a pitching wedge, and just kind of held it up there nicely. It took off on a perfect line. Obviously when it lands, you never quite know, but it was on a perfect line, and I think it was going to be close regardless. So it's a bonus to drop in.

Q. And the 6-under 65 outside of the hole-in-one, obviously a great day. What was working for you today?

ADAM HADWIN: Yeah, it was a very solid day. Again, very strong tee to green. I didn't make a lot early. Speed was good, I just didn't have proper lines on the green. But made a few in the back, obviously got the hole-in-one, and just another solid round of golf.

Q. Did you see it go in?

ADAM HADWIN: Yeah, we did. It almost looked like it stopped, but they were still kind of yelling for it to go in up by the green, so we knew it was still trickling at least, and then it disappeared, so it's always a good feeling.

Q. How many is this for you?

ADAM HADWIN: Four total now and two in the last five months.

Q. What's the secret for the 10 plus handicappers? They're going to be knocking down the door to figure out what's going on out here.

ADAM HADWIN: I don't know, I don't think there's any secret. Regardless if it was a pitching wedge this time, 7-iron last time, there's a lot of luck involved. I hit two perfect golf shots for sure, but there's still a lot of luck. You've got to get the proper bounce on the green. Caddie did a great job of reading those ones.
