Q. 62 yesterday. 61 today. Tied the course record. Have you ever felt this dialed in on a course over the weekend?
MATT JONES: I mean, you just have a lot of opportunities out there and I was lucky enough to make some putts today and yesterday and then holed out a few shots today for -- I holed out one for an eagle and chipped one in yesterday for an eagle, so those always help the score.
Q. You're the third player to shoot 61 this week and share the course record. What's to that this week?
MATT JONES: I mean, it's pretty soft. We had ball in hand, but I think two of the course records were, or three of the course records might have been after we had ball in hand, but you could just get access to every pin. The wind was very down for when we play here. So you just, short irons and people attack pins.
Q. Most strokes under par for a closing 36. You're also one of three players to breaker Ernie Els' scoring record here for a tournament. Is it crazy to think you did all that and you're still coming up short?
MATT JONES: I mean, it's just goes to show the depth of the PGA TOUR and how good the players are. If you told me I would have shot 32-under I would have been more than happy to sit in the clubhouse and let everyone play and see what happens.
Q. How important was it to have your Australian coach fly out here this week to help you?
MATT JONES: It's very important. I mean, it's been since, it will be two years in March since THE PLAYERS since I've seen him. We've done a lot of FaceTime, a lot of work over the phone, but there's nothing like hands on.
Q. What are you taking away this week overall as you go forward for the rest of the season?
MATT JONES: Just another good tournament, good start, great start to this year, not this season but this year and hopefully something I can build on for the rest of the year.
