Q. Is it difficult when you start a round and you see the leading score already at 15-under to stay patient?
HIDEKI MATSUYAMA: The last time I looked before I started it was at 11, so I was like, That's doable.
But then halfway through I realized it was 15, and, yeah, that's a long -- that's a tough row to hoe when you're that far back.
Q. Did you have a score in mind that you wanted to just stay close?
HIDEKI MATSUYAMA: Yeah, I really didn't have a number in mind. I was all over the place the front nine. Couldn't keep the driver in the fairway.
So I'm happy with how I finished.
Q. Last question: Do you know the menu for the champion's dinner?
HIDEKI MATSUYAMA: Still thinking about it.
Q. Is it possible that you could get IHOP to serve the dinner?
HIDEKI MATSUYAMA: No. (Laughter.)
