Q. Quite the roller coaster out there for you today, but you hang in and you birdie your last two holes and you put yourself in position for a good Sunday.
CAMERON YOUNG: Yeah, honestly I don't think it was much of a roller coaster, I just snap hooked one out of bounds. I feel like I played pretty well, didn't get a ton out of it. I feel like I hit a lot of really good shots that just ended up 20 feet from the hole except for the last two. So I was happy with the way I played today and to birdie the last two makes you feel a little better.
Q. I was referring to the penalty shot on 7 and then the out of bounds. You called it on yourself at 7 and you still managed to make par. Maybe the golf gods smiled on you.
CAMERON YOUNG: Yeah, it was one I wasn't comfortable saying it didn't move, so, yeah, obviously nice to get it up-and-down for par. But we were hoping that would mean I would make everything the rest of the day, which didn't quite happen. But, yeah, just one of those things, you kind of have to do it.
Q. On a windy day, on a difficult golf course you managed to just miss two greens, 16 of 18.
CAMERON YOUNG: I didn't know that.
Q. That's what the stats say.
CAMERON YOUNG: Yeah, like I said, I felt like I hit it pretty well, didn't miss too many shots, I hardly misstruck anything. Even though they weren't all perfect, I struck a lot of them really, really solid, which in some wind that's all you can really ask. You're going to get some wrong with the number because of the wind swirling a little bit, but I hit a lot of solid shots today.
Q. What are your thoughts going into Sunday?
CAMERON YOUNG: Thoughts are probably need to make a lot of birdies tomorrow and not make any bogeys. So we'll see how that goes.
