Q. Great round for you, punctuated by two eagles on the front nine. Can you just take us through those two shots.
JUSTIN LOWER: Yeah, it was just, we had back-to-back par-5s, hit two really good tee shots, had basically the same yardage on each hole. No. 5 I hit it to about three feet, which was perfect 5-iron.
Then hit a perfect 5-iron on the next hole as well and hit it to about 20 feet, luckily made the putt.
Q. Were the conditions out there conducive to an aggressive strategy, or did you have to be careful out there?
JUSTIN LOWER: There's a couple holes you have to be careful of, for sure. Pretty benign conditions, very little wind, and probably the softest of the three courses green-wise, so you can be pretty aggressive into the greens. You just had to be a little wary about how far the ball was going in the morning. Eventually it warned up, so started going normal distance eventually.
Q. You're off to a great start, what does this do for you going forward, as you know you really have to shoot low scores to have a chance at this thing.
JUSTIN LOWER: Yeah, you just have to -- it frees me up a little bit, so, yeah, just have to keep the pedal down and go from there.
Q. 9-under, what an amazing round you had. What was working for you and how are you clicking really on all cylinders?
JUSTIN LOWER: It was a little bit of everything. Kind of got off to a weird start. I had a chip-in for par on my first hole. Yeah, just everything kind of started clicking from there. Took advantage of the par-5s, and got a couple to fall in between. A little nervy coming down the stretch, but still a good round.
Q. How do you carry this momentum over, I mean, 9-under anywhere is pretty good, so how do you carry it over?
JUSTIN LOWER: You just have to keep the pedal down. This tournament, it always yields low scores, so just, yeah, just be as aggressive as I can when I can, and just kind of go from there.
Q. I think your most impressive thing from today was shooting two eagles back-to-back. What was going through your head at that point and moment? Did you think you were kind of on a roll?
JUSTIN LOWER: A little bit. I've never done that, I don't even think I've done it in just a regular round, but let alone a tournament round. Yeah, any time you can make back-to-back eagles it certainly helps the score. But, yeah, I was just trying to keep the ball in front of me and just get it on the green as fast as possible and try to make some putts.
