Q. Nice solid improvement from yesterday. What clicked for you today?
RICKIE FOWLER: Body felt a little better today, freed up a little bit more. Good to have the first round out of the way after a bit of time off. Haven't played a whole lot since July, a few tournaments in the fall, and get back at it here. A lot of good stuff at home, and had some good finishes in the fall, so I was just looking to kind of get back and get going from that. So a little rusty yesterday, but a lot of good stuff today, see if we can just continue riding that from here on out.
Q. Do you give yourself grace when you haven't played in a while and maybe you don't do what you wanted to do on the first day?
RICKIE FOWLER: There's a little bit, but also there's the expectations, and I know I've been playing well and I've had some good practice and prep leading up to earlier this week getting ready to go yesterday, so, yeah, it was a bit shaky, wasn't great, but also at least salvaged somewhat acceptable round of golf with the start we had. Had to be a little bit happy with that, after hitting a tree and ball going OB, and having a ball get stuck in a tree, so a few funny things happened, but other than that, yeah, nice to pick up from there and get going today.
Q. Couple of solid results last fall, this off-season come at a good time for you or you almost wanted to keep playing?
RICKIE FOWLER: Yeah, I mean, yeah, it would have been nice to kind of continue on from that, but at the same time I enjoy some time off and getting in the gym, getting the body going, spending time with family, just being home. So I really enjoyed, you know, really since the British I've only played a few events, so the amount of time we've gotten to be at home and be with the family and just be a dad has been great. Now we get going, so there won't be a whole lot of time at home.
