Q. 4-under to start. Very good playing. How do you feel about the day and what you were able to do out there?
STEPHAN JAEGER: Yeah, it was pretty solid. Made a couple mistakes, and this golf course will get you pretty quickly. The rough is pretty thick. Greens are pretty soft, that's the only kind of help we get this week. Wind wasn't that bad. We had a pretty good round. Couple mistakes, made a couple bogeys, but also made a couple nice birdies to kind of finish it off.
Q. 17, what was the read on that and what's it like to make that putt?
STEPHAN JAEGER: Yeah, it was humming, I know that. It was going to be probably a solid eight feet by if it didn't hit the hole. But sometimes you get lucky like that and you hit the middle of the hole and it goes in. On days like that it goes in and some days you miss it and 3-putt, right. So it's one of those things where you've got to take the good when it comes to you. I'm happy that one went in, and also very happy with the par on 18.
Q. The addition of the tree on No. 6 does that change your game plan at all on that hole off the tee?
STEPHAN JAEGER: No, not the tree. I think they added about 20 or 30 yards. So it used to be like a strong hybrid or a strong 4-iron to kind of give yourself in the widest spot. I had a 3-wood today and hit 9-iron in. So it's still a precision play. Davis hit driver, I think he hit probably wedge in. So you can hit driver, for sure. But, you know, it's just high enough to where I don't think you really have to think about it. And they will move the tee up five or ten yards and it won't be in the way. But it looks, visually, it's cool, obviously, and I read on it how they moved it, it's a pretty cool story.
Q. This course compared to when you first played here, are there any holes or anything you do differently here having played it a few times and learned the course?
STEPHAN JAEGER: Yeah, 18. I'm a pretty aggressive player, so 18 I used to just hit driver and try to fit it in there. I hit a fade. It's just such a -- especially today, it's off the left and help. There's just really not a spot to hit it. So I laid back a little bit with 3-wood, just still went through. It's just a hard tee shot, right. Left is just death, so you got to almost, like the right center of the fairway is your fairway. So if you can do that it's not a terrible hole, but that one's probably one that I kind of lay back a little bit more now the more I play it.
