Quick Quotes

Q. How would you characterize your round today?

JACOB BRIDGEMAN: I feel like I played a lot less good than I did yesterday, for whatever reason. I played really good yesterday and didn't really get much out of it. And then I really struggled today, had a ton of left misses early, and kind of just figured out a way to get it into the house and hit some kind of smooth punch shots a lot of times to hit it straight. I just scored unbelievably today. So, yeah, it was quite different.

Q. How would you describe the challenge of playing this particular golf course? You obviously won at Riv, very different than here. Or is it similar? What do you feel like is the difference to doing well out here?

JACOB BRIDGEMAN: I think I've always liked this place just because I think you have to hit it really straight and conservative off the tee. There's not really a whole lot of room for aggression off the tee. Kind of just got to hit it where the course gives you. I kind of like that style of golf.

I think it's a lot different than Riv. Riv is a lot of hit the line off the tee, hit it about as far as you want, and you've really got to have some good iron play. So this one, it tests a lot. There's trouble on both sides throughout the course, and when I was struggling hitting it left early I was pretty uncomfortable.

Q. Earlier in the week guys were talking about the rough is a little thicker than usual, the greens are a little firmer. After the rain how would you say it changed, or maybe did it not change too much?

JACOB BRIDGEMAN: Yeah, I was watching a little bit yesterday morning. The wind was blowing, the greens were really firm, it's just like Wednesday afternoon. I think the rain -- I was fortunate to tee off kind of after it rained just a little bit, and then as it started to rain kind of on our front nine, it made it softer. I feel like it was more of a, maybe a 9-iron early in the morning would roll out 15 feet, and now it was kind of hit and stop, which always makes it easier, just softer greens. But at the same time, it kind of made the greens slower and stickier yesterday afternoon. This morning, the greens were amazing, perfect, a little bit faster, but still had saw some reception to 'em so we were able to be aggressive.
