Q. I'm sure a bit sour with 18, but broadly how do you feel like you played today?
CAM YOUNG: I feel like I battled pretty well. I didn't play great. Been driving it really well, and today I just didn't get it in the fairways much. I hit a bunch of decent shots, but just one of those days where they all were 32 feet, and you don't make many of those.
To get it back to 2-under with one hole to go I feel like was pretty good. Honestly, the tee shot wasn't bad. I almost bent over to pick up the tee when I hit it. There's a bunch of wind up there, and it just kept turning and turning and was a foot too much.
Q. How much does this course test your focus or your energy it seems like all 18 holes, every shot?
CAM YOUNG: Yeah, it's pretty much if you hit a bad shot you make a double for the most part. So there's not much room for error and, yeah, it's taxing, but I feel like these two weeks, Bay Hill, here, you're just kind of ready for it. Yeah, it's definitely, you have to be in it all day, but just keep hitting them.
Q. You stuffed that one close on 17, obviously with a tap-in. That swing of emotion, you get to 18 you think you stripe it and it just kind of clips out there?
CAM YOUNG: Yeah, definitely. It wasn't what I had planned, but it happened. I cost myself two off the tee and I saved myself one with the putter. So it could have been worse. I drew a terrible lie right of the green, and somewhere that it feels like you should have a decent chance to get up-and-down. I had no idea whether I was going to get it out or -- obviously it came out a little hot. Saved myself one with the putter is what I'm going to take away from it.
Q. Do you feel like you're in reach tomorrow?
CAM YOUNG: Yeah, for sure.
Q. This place is pretty volatile.
CAM YOUNG: It is. I don't expect him to give me much, but I also feel like could I shoot 8- or 9-under, so like we saw with JT last year, he shot 10, you know, Ludvig shot 9 yesterday, there's been a bunch of 7s, and I wouldn't expect him to give me even one back. But I think those numbers are out there, and no reason why I can't be the one to shoot them.
Q. The shot on 17, can you take us through?
CAM YOUNG: Yeah, it was 127, I think. I was trying to land it 133 and I fatted it just a little bit and it went to a foot.
