Q. Good round out there today. What was working so well for you?
ALEX NOREN: I think I hit most of the greens, kind of missed a couple. But it was good. Driver was pretty good. It was just better than it has been as of late and it was enjoyable, yeah.
Q. What changes have you made to make it better?
ALEX NOREN: Well I think when we had that long off-season I tried to kind of straighten my ball flight out and then maybe be able to hit both draws and fades. And it kind of, it's very tough, you know, out here it's probably easier just have a one ball flight and I feel more comfortable that way and I worked really hard last sort of week I was home and just try to be more comfortable on the shots and before the shots even, to pull them off, yeah.
Q. Conditions this morning were a little bit windy, it was a little bit better calmer this afternoon. How much did that play into your process?
ALEX NOREN: Well, it's obviously easier, you know, it's a bit bouncy out there on the greens and if you're in the fairway you can stop the ball, but if you're in the rough, even if the rough is not very big, you know, real high, it's hard to stop the ball. Yeah, obviously wind on top of that this morning it was probably trickier.
So but, yeah, you get lucky sometimes and we probably draw the lucky straw today and see how it is tomorrow, yeah.
Q. We've heard a lot of guys come through here and talk about how much they love playing this tournament, the atmosphere, the fans and everything. Is it something you enjoy, is it a challenge, what's your mentality coming into a tournament like this?
ALEX NOREN: No, I mean, I played pro golf for a long time now and so I like the crowd and some tournaments you know it's kind of more packed, every hole. Here it's kind of packed on maybe six holes and sort of spread out.
And I love it. I mean going into that 16, it's great. I think it's amazing for golf amazing for everybody, even if people up there don't watch the shots, I mean it's amazing. Especially after along pandemic, it's nice to see everybody back, yeah.
