Q. Great finish with that eagle on 17. Talk about what you hit off the tee and almost seeing that go in.
CHRISTIAAN BEZUIDENHOUT: Yeah, it was a perfect driver. It landed over that middle bunker, like 275. I pulled it a little bit, so I got fortunate with a bounce and it ended up a couple of feet away, and yeah, it was nice to finish my round like that.
Q. Have you ever had a hole-in-one on a par-4?
CHRISTIAAN BEZUIDENHOUT: No, never. That's the closest that I've been ever, I think. I'm not one of the longest hitters on TOUR, so I don't reach many par-4s in one, but yeah, it was just nice to finish my round on a positive note.
Q. How would you assess your week as a whole in terms of what you've been able to do well through two days to put yourself in a position to contend?
CHRISTIAAN BEZUIDENHOUT: Yeah, this golf tournament always tests you. There's a lot going on at this event with the crowds and the spectators walking and shouting and things like that. You just really try and lock yourself in to what you want to do, focus on the processes every time you hit a shot, and then just accept the outcome. If you can commit to what you can control, and that's what I've been doing well the last couple of days, then hopefully I can do the same over the weekend.
Q. Do you remember the first time you played in front of a crowd that resonated with you, that you felt adrenaline from a crowd watching you play?
CHRISTIAAN BEZUIDENHOUT: No, outside of the Presidents Cup every two years is probably close to this, but the crowd size is probably closer to a major this week. It's always nice to come back to this tournament, and yeah, hopefully I can keep it up over the weekend.
