Q. Chris, take us through your round today, what you liked most about your play.
CHRIS GOTTERUP: Kind of just one of those days it felt like for me where kind of just stuck in neutral a little bit.
Felt like I kind of just -- what I said yesterday, I didn't do today as well, but that's why this course is difficult when it's firm and windy. Yeah, happy to hang in there.
Probably would've taken my position before I tee'd off on Thursday. Nothing to be upset about.
Q. What was your approach on 18?
CHRIS GOTTERUP: Find the fairway; didn't do that. Gave myself about as hard of a putt as you can get. Just happy to get out of there with a four.
Yeah, they got some good pins out here. When it gets firm and fast and you got to be in the right spot, and I wasn't doing that well today.
Q. When you say compared to what you did yesterday, do you mean in terms of --
CHRIS GOTTERUP: Just putting myself in the right spot. Felt like all day today -- like 9 nine for example; have wedge in; ball rolls off the left side of the green; get it up and down, but just where it adds stress to my round.
Didn't quite make it as easy and just takes away looks. You'd would like to have a 20-footer worst case, and walk away grinding out a par. Just doesn't feel like you get in a good rhythm. Yeah, I mean, onto tomorrow.
Q. Chris, coming into today with the lead, how does that impact your approach?
CHRIS GOTTERUP: No, I mean, Thursday lead is way different than a Saturday lead. Obviously Hideki went out and played great in the morning. Don't really feel like you're -- you just got to stay in the mix. Even though I shot even par and I'm still right in the mix of it.
Yeah, looking forward to the weekend.
Q. Is there a hole you feel the most consistent on on this course?
CHRIS GOTTERUP: I guess 13, but I don't know. I think you just have to be in a good spot. I feel like I know what I need to do on holes. You just got it execute.
