Q. Chris, it seems like you can't even believe what you just did. You've won before, but you have never won like this, your first playoff, these crowds. What's going through your body when you walk off in regulation and have about an hour to think about it and realize, we're back up?
CHRIS GOTTERUP: I mean, I knew I needed to make birdie on 18, but you never know. Hideki was playing great. 17 is birdieable, but there's also some danger out there.
I just figured I'd stay loose, and I didn't think this would happen, especially after Friday and Saturday. But here we are.
Q. When you think about what this means for you moving forward, you told me winning the Sony Open frees me up; I can play mentally without a worry in the world. Is this what the result is when you play with no worries?
CHRIS GOTTERUP: God, I don't know. I really have no idea. I'm just having such a good time playing right now -- you make me cry every time. My girlfriend is here. She's like, you've won three times without me here, and she got to see it, and I know everyone at home is watching. Just so awesome.
Q. We saw it at the Scottish Open; when the moment is biggest, when your back is against the wall, that's when you show up. Where does that come from?
CHRIS GOTTERUP: You know, a lot of hard work. You make me cry every time. There's just so many people that believe in me, and to be able it to share it with them -- I won't be able to get through it. It's just so much fun.
