Quick Quotes

Q. 2-under today, a little bit of a roller coaster ride from you. If we can get some comments.

TOM HOGE: Yeah, I was a little shaky off the start, drove it a little crooked and missed some putts in there. So I righted the ship pretty well from 9 on in. I was a little bit flustered with a bogey at the last but it was nice to make some birdies coming in.

Q. It's usually a little bit easier over here, but it's playing pretty tricky this year, isn't it?

TOM HOGE: Yeah, I would say the greens are a little bit faster, I had a couple 3-putts on my first nine holes. But, yeah, I mean the golf course is in perfect shape, the fairways are beautiful, the greens are rolling nice so there's plenty of birdies to be made, you just got to be in the fairway and I had a little trouble with that off the start.

Q. Seamus got a little bit ahead of you guys today at 16-under, but still a lot of golf to play. Talk about your mindset going into the weekend and specifically Spyglass tomorrow?

TOM HOGE: Yeah, Spyglass is always a challenge, you got to play well there. We're going to be last off tomorrow so I'm sure the greens will be a little bit tough to putt just due to all the traffic on them for three days.

But the weather's perfect out here so I know that if you hit good shots you can score out there as well.
