Q. Just tell me about opening round, kind of your best round here. What was this, your seventh start?
SI WOO KIM: Yeah, it was a great round. Doesn't make bogey. I think the first time playing pretty good opening day. So I hope to play all three days like this.
Q. You mentioned the bogeys, but any of the birdies stand out to you in particular throughout the day?
SI WOO KIM: Sorry again?
Q. Like a highlight of any of the birdies you had today.
SI WOO KIM: I think -- what hole I make birdie (laughter)? I blanked out right now. What hole I make birdie? I think --
Q. Saving par on 18?
SI WOO KIM: On No. 16 and 18. I pulled it in the water the second shot, and then I make a great up and down behind the drop zone. Then No. 18, I missed right tee shot, so it was tough, the rough. So it just lay up, was good up and down to par.
Q. Can you talk about also the level of difficulty this course brings, especially the key to hitting fairways with the rough being so tall?
SI WOO KIM: I think I played the last four or five years, I think thicker rough this year. If mis-hit fairway, it's really hard to par and everything. But I tee shot pretty well today. So was no problem with the rough.
