Q. Bogey-free not just today but yesterday as well. How impressive is that over the weekend here at Bay Hill? I know you're disappointed for not getting the win, but how impressive is the way you played over the last 36 holes?
HARRIS ENGLISH: Yeah, I think it was a lot of quality golf. A lot of good par saves. I feel like I putted really well all week. Probably inside 6 or 8 feet, I don't know how many putts I missed.
But it was great. I love this style of golf. It's really difficult. You got to play chess out here and pick your spots to be aggressive. Man, it was a lot of fun. I love playing in U.S. Opens and this is as close to a U.S. Open setup as we play on the PGA TOUR. It was a lot of fun.
A lot of fun to be in the mix playing with Rory the last day and there was a lot of energy and excitement out there from the fans and it was a lot of fun. Sucks to come up one short, but I'll take a lot of positives to the PLAYERS next week.
Q. You got to take a lot of the great things you did here because obviously that golf course is difficult as well. What do you feel like you kind of did here that's going to translate very well to TPC Sawgrass?
HARRIS ENGLISH: Yeah, I feel like I have some unfinished business there. Really, the last time I played I shot 7-under and then it got cancelled from COVID. So I felt like I finally got that course and hopefully I can rekindle some magic a little bit.
I like where my game's at. I got to keep believing in it, keep the confidence high, and go there and do it again.
Q. You qualified for the Open Championship today. It's got to be very satisfying.
HARRIS ENGLISH: Any time you can qualify for a major it's incredible. The Open Championship is one of my favorite tournaments. I love going over there and playing. I love that style of golf. It's exciting to get in.
