Quick Quotes

Q. That looked enjoyable.

KEEGAN BRADLEY: It was.

Q. Were you finding something today or have you been playing like that all week and just took advantage of some things?

KEEGAN BRADLEY: I played like this all week. I had three doubles yesterday. Other than those three holes, I got a really, I would have, you know, take away those three, I know that's easy to say, but like, I could have won this tournament. I played well all week and then today, especially, was really, really solid.

Q. Did you know 29 was the record on the front?

KEEGAN BRADLEY: I didn't, but I figured, I was walking off 9 trying to figure out what I, if I did shoot 29, and I was pretty sure I did, but it was exciting. I hit a terrible drive on 9 and, like, terrible. And it rolled up and I had 102 yards straight looking at the flag. Like, sometimes you get good breaks and that's what happens.

Q. What was the last time you were 8-under through 10 holes? Do you remember?

KEEGAN BRADLEY: Definitely not on this course. This was really something that I'll remember forever. This was, like I've been saying all week, I think this is the toughest course we play all year, and to do it on Sunday under these conditions feels good. I can take this with me the rest of the year.

Q. You mentioned the doubles yesterday, but Thursday playing in the morning was effectively a two- or two-and-a-half-shot penalty, the wind died in the afternoon.

KEEGAN BRADLEY: Yeah, I played like this the first day. It didn't make that many putts. And today I made two great putts on 1 and 2 for par. That really helped me get going.

Q. Does this do anything for you going into next week being able to shed what happened yesterday?

KEEGAN BRADLEY: Yeah, definitely. It's so important to get some good finishes under your belt in these elevated events. I had a 15th at Sony -- or at Maui, and then other than that it hasn't been too great. No matter what happens the rest of the day, this will go a long way in my year.

Q. T-3 at the moment. Going to stay around at all?

KEEGAN BRADLEY: Yeah, I'm going to stay around. I don't expect to win, but I've seen crazier things happen, for sure.

Q. How would you like to have 8-under through 10 holes and a Ryder Cup singles match on Sunday?

KEEGAN BRADLEY: (Laughing.) I would love that. I would love that. It's always in the back of my mind, but days like this, I can build on for the rest of the year.

Q. When did you start thinking about trying to win?

KEEGAN BRADLEY: I thought after my birdie on 8 and I got to whatever it was, 6-, 7-under. I was expecting the wind to pick up. It hasn't really. But I sort of had 10 in my mind. I thought, geez, if I can shoot 4-under on the back and get to 10, I think I would have a really good chance of winning. I thought that and made two good birdies after that. I played really nicely. I only hit one bad shot on 15 -- or on 14. But other than that, it was really good.

Q. Do you have a favorite interaction with Arnold over the years?

KEEGAN BRADLEY: So my rookie year I got paired with Sam Saunders and he was driving around in the cart, like, following us, and that was pretty surreal. I was 25 years old. I had just made it to the tour. This was probably my fifth or sixth PGA TOUR event. All of a sudden Arnold Palmer was following me around watching. It was, you know, a lifetime memory.

Q. Did that affect you while you were playing?

KEEGAN BRADLEY: I don't remember, but -- yeah, I mean, it was Arnold Palmer. It's pretty exciting, especially since we didn't start in the fall then. So this was, this was my first real big event, and it was special.
