Q. Strong fight there until the end obviously with Scottie Scheffler, hometown hero. Thoughts on the round and the finish there?
J.T. POSTON: Yeah, I knew I wasn't going to get a whole lot of "J.T." chants out there, which is expected. But I played great, played solid. Didn't want to give him any there, but unfortunately gave him a couple down the stretch and ended up costing me. For the most part I played great all week, today included.
Q. What worked for you this week in terms of your game and your form?
J.T. POSTON: I think the course suits me really well. You can't really overpower it too much. The long guys can take advantage of the par-5s and stuff, but for the most part you can't really overpower it I feel like. It plays into my hands with the format and being a good putter.
Yeah, I played solid. Pretty much the first three days I didn't really give too many away and didn't really give too many away today until the last four holes.
Q. Do you feel like the crowds really helped keep the momentum going? I'm sure you had a large group following you all and going shot to shot.
J.T. POSTON: Yeah, it's definitely hard, especially on the last hole. You know who everybody is cheering for and people were pulling for my ball to roll off the green and pulling for my ball to miss, which is fine. It's expected. It doesn't hurt my feelings one bit. It's kind of part of what I knew was going to be the atmosphere out here.
I wish I would have made that putt and given it a little bit more golf, but that's how it goes.
