Q. Strong finish out there today. Obviously making the eagle there at 18. What turned it around for you?
CAMERON DAVIS: I think the eagle on 18. I hit a couple of kind of okay shots, but I wasn't really getting too much going. But I hit a really nice second shot into 18 and I feel like the feel from that shot kind of carried over a little bit onto the front nine.
I think, like I just hit the ball probably a little bit better off the tee as well -- I drove the ball pretty well all day. But I got to the point where I started getting some putts to go in and I think it was nice to get on a little bit of a roll from there on.
Q. All three of your guys in your group eagled 18. Ever had that happen before?
CAMERON DAVIS: No, I think that's the first time I've seen that. That was awesome. Scott holed his putt and I was like, I got to make mine now, because I know that his was going in, because it was so close. So that was really fun. It was nice.
Q. Coming out here today, obviously growing up in Australia and playing in conditions like this, you had to feel pretty comfortable out there. What's the key for you when you play in strong windy conditions?
CAMERON DAVIS: Well, figuring out where the wind is coming from is a big one. I mean when it's a little gusty like it is today and the wind is kind of switching just a little bit, you have to kind of figure out the difference between a straight up the left versus a slightly into off the left, because there's a massive difference and it's sometimes hard to feel. So talking through your shots with your caddie really well, I did a really good job of that today, of picking out where exactly the wind was coming from and from there all you can do is do your best. If you get a gust, it's kind of out of your hands. It's still frustrating when you hit a good shot that doesn't turn out well, but it's a little bit more that way, that's why the scores usually aren't as low. But guys obviously figured that out today, so it wasn't too bad.
Q. Obviously the 9-under puts you in pretty good out there. But you keep putting yourself in position, you've had a good season so far, as you go in the rest of the way, what have you learned and what are you going to take forward to the rest of this weekend?
CAMERON DAVIS: That you got to keep up the good work. Sometimes you get a little used to maybe doing things that you struggled with in the past well and then something comes up that can tip off the past couple of weeks is sort of that deal. I got back to my, back to doing what was working really well earlier in the year and it was nice that it straight away turned into a good round. So I just got to keep sticking with it and keep doing that and see what I can see.
