Q. What a weekend. Everything to take away except for the trophy. What are you feeling right now?
ERIC COLE: You know, I'm a little disappointed. Obviously I wanted to win, but I didn't have my best game today, especially ball-striking, and I hung in there pretty tough, and I was proud of that.
Q. Adrenaline maybe on the shot over here? That was absolutely off the screws. To get in that back bunker was probably the worst place you could be as well as you hit it.
ERIC COLE: Yeah, I hit a perfect shot. I normally draw it and I tried to hit just a hold-up cut, and it just went really far. I guess I was just -- some of that adrenaline pumping.
Q. Rookie season on the PGA TOUR, solo second is going to take care of a lot of questions the rest of the way for you. In this moment can you find some of the positives out of what you did this week?
ERIC COLE: Yeah, I played four good rounds, and I felt comfortable most of the tournament. Like I said, I didn't really -- I hit it really well the first three days, and today I did not hit it as well, and I hung pretty tough, so I'm proud of that.
Q. Family was here, this gallery right here, cheering you the whole way. Something you'll never forget?
ERIC COLE: Yeah, it was cool, hometown event, my family and friends coming out, it means a lot. It was a cool environment, and I want to get back in it and hopefully get a good result.
