Q. You've put together two solid rounds this week. Share some thoughts on how you're feeling about the two rounds.
C.T. PAN: I came out really solid form from last weekend, even though physically I've been sick since Friday in Mexico. But I feel my game is fine and it's in good shape, especially my driving. Driving out here is very important. That really puts me in really good spots for a lot of birdie chances out there. Really happy with my first two rounds.
Q. How was the Bear Trap today? The conditions were a little bit windier, so I'm sure that stretch was more challenging today than yesterday?
C.T. PAN: It was hard. We are talking about 15-, 20- mile gusts, maybe 25, 30. We are adding like 20 yards on some of the par-3s out there, 20, 25 yards. It was playing tough out there. You just never know how the wind is going to affect and how much it's going to affect your ball.
Q. What's it going to take this weekend to continue rising up the leaderboard and getting toward contention on Sunday?
C.T. PAN: A lot of fairways and greens, trying to keep the game simple, straightforward. I think par is a really good score out here. I'll stay with that.
Q. Can you talk a little bit about the 10th hole today and how that played?
C.T. PAN: 10th hole, it's kind of a bonus because it used to be a par-4 and now it's a par-5. I think everyone is trying to play more aggressive and hopefully to make eagles to start the round.
I hit a really good bunker shot, almost holed out, to finish with a birdie.
