Q. Really solid second round, put yourself right in contention through two days. What's been working well?
GARRICK HIGGO: Hitting it better. I'm giving myself more chances, and the putter has been good for the last couple weeks. Just putting for birdie more often.
Q. How would you characterize the start to your season?
GARRICK HIGGO: Not great, but I injured my wrist at ZOZO, so I took three months off. It's all right, I guess, and I've made a lot of swing changes. Low expectation.
Q. Was it a specific shot that you hurt your wrist on? Was it one specific moment --
GARRICK HIGGO: No, I've had wrist issues for two years. But yeah, it happened on a shot, but it's been coming a while.
Q. Do you feel fully healthy and like your game is rounding back into form?
GARRICK HIGGO: Sort of. My wrist has been giving me issues still. But yeah, my game -- my coach and I have been working pretty hard at it, and I feel like my swing is at a place where I can just play instead of trying to find it out there.
Q. What do you do to manage it?
GARRICK HIGGO: I don't know. This week I've been able to just play instead of -- I've kind of let go of the swing thoughts, which is where you want to be. So it shows.
