Q. What was the difference in the course from before the delay and after for you?
KEITH MITCHELL: Softer greens. Ball was landing and actually coming backwards, which hasn't happened all week. There was a little bit on 13, I thought I hit a pretty good shot in there, and it came back 20 feet short of the hole, which I got lucky with the drive, but still, greens were definitely more receptive and even spun back on 16 with an 8-iron. When you get that much rain in that sort a time, you expect it.
Q. You guys had probably about three hours by the time you came in and went out to the range. What did you do to pass the time?
KEITH MITCHELL: Had a little bite to eat. Tried to stay in the present. Rain delays are tough, especially when you're playing well. You want to keep the train rolling. Sometimes it's good if you had a bad start and you get to kind of reset. But I just tried to stay as focused as I could while trying to relax a little bit. It's a really tough balance, especially when you get a text that you've got to be in position really in 45 minutes. You don't have real time to get ready.
We're used to it. It's my seventh year on TOUR. I've had plenty of rain delays. I wish there was a secret sauce to them, but you've just got to kind of manage.
