Quick Quotes

Q. You ended up with 67 two days in a row. How did the two rounds compare for you?

TAYLOR MOORE: I think very different 67s. I didn't hit many fairways yesterday, kind of grinded a lot, had a couple chip-ins, which obviously helps. I thought I struck the ball much better today. Drove it in the fairways on the par-5s, I felt like. Yeah, still had a few up-and-downs, obviously, with the tough windy conditions this afternoon, but overall I thought it was solid.

Q. Did you pay attention to any of the scores before you went out this morning, and were you surprised that they weren't a little lower?

TAYLOR MOORE: I watched a little bit of the golf just to see some pins and see the speed of the greens. They've got some speed on them. I showed up Monday, and I was like, wow, these are going to get pretty gassy. But yeah, just watched a little bit of the golf and tried to see some of the pins.

Q. These are your two best rounds here. Is there any reason -- is it because you've gotten to play this course a couple times now?

TAYLOR MOORE: Yeah, I think some experience here does well. Just such a tricky spot. You guys know how it is. You get out of position, they make you look silly. I think being able to execute quality shots on the par-3s here is obviously huge, especially as you're getting to the last few holes.

Q. Are you excited for the weekend?

TAYLOR MOORE: Yeah, fired up.

Q. Just a random question outside of the golf course: It seems like in the next few weeks, the PGA TOUR might unveil some of their 2027 schedule, and with a lot of changes being reported, is there anything that you would like to see come to fruition as changes are being mulled over?

TAYLOR MOORE: To be honest with you, I appreciate the question, but I don't have too much input on that. I really don't know what the TOUR is going to do. I think my -- ever since I've been a rookie out here, there's been some changes pretty much every year, which is just how it is. I just really try to keep my feet on the ground and play golf where I'm at. I don't really have too much of an answer for you.

Q. Talk about the different conditions yesterday morning and this afternoon.

TAYLOR MOORE: Yeah, much calmer yesterday morning. I got pretty much nine holes with really fresh greens and not a lot of wind. Watching some golf this morning, they were still pretty baked out and obviously got pretty windy ever since I teed off and started warming up, so I kind of knew what the day was going to be. Sometimes I prefer it that way, just warming up when you're acclimated to the conditions, and pretty much stayed that way throughout.

Q. What was the biggest challenge for you this afternoon?

TAYLOR MOORE: You know, I think some of the crosswind holes, like 6 and 8, even 9. The way, the direction they're facing, sometimes it's a little tricky to feel like if they're into the wind or downwind, as well as being a lot of cross. I would say some of those holes finishing up for me were a little tricky.
