Q. Keith, good week this week and headed to Bay Hill next week. What's it mean to get that opportunity?
KEITH MITCHELL: A lot. I didn't even think about committing to the tournament because I didn't -- all these things. I've got to thank my team for committing me at the last minute, like 4:30 on Friday, so I'd even have a chance to play in.
But played great for three out of four days. Didn't play my best on Friday, but to still put three rounds together and birdie the last hole to get in is big.
Q. Could you talk through 16, and even then, as it turns out, making that putt loomed large?
KEITH MITCHELL: Yeah, I was in between clubs, trying to hit a 5- or 6-iron to that back left pin, and 5-iron I was afraid wasn't going to get over the lip, so I tried to hit this really hard 6-iron. I got way out in front of it, and I asked my caddie if it hit the lip or if it just went that way. No idea. I think I might have just -- I don't know. The worst shot I've hit.
But I felt like I bounced back well and made par on the second ball, parred 17 and birdied 18. I think that's a bigger win for me just coming off that bad shot and still performing on the way in than looking at that shot.
Q. You don't want to root against anyone, but having that 20-minute window of being so close and not knowing whether you're in or not?
KEITH MITCHELL: Yeah, we've been waiting for a little over an hour and having no clue what anything means. Until the last group got on the green, everything was just in flux.
It's nice to get in. Super excited. Great for Nico to come back and win.
Q. What's the travel logistics like now?
KEITH MITCHELL: A lot different. I did drive down here, so I have my car, so I will be driving to Bay Hill. But yeah, we were planning on going home and moving into our new house, and it looks like my wife will be doing that on her own.
Q. You've had a good track record at Bay Hill. What is it about that course that fits your game, and do you feel comfortable on that course?
KEITH MITCHELL: I love that golf course. I love the history with Tiger and Arnold Palmer there. Just the way the course plays, it's always really difficult. I haven't looked at the weather. I haven't played there in a few years. It could be different. Excited to head back.
