Q. Is that your first foray into the stands in here, in your career?
MARTIN CONTINI: Yeah, that was wild. You can imagine this is my first PGA TOUR event, obviously was my first climb to the stage. So, yeah, that was crazy, that was funny. It turned out right perfect, so.
Q. Did you, you found the fan who had the ball and what did he say to you?
MARTIN CONTINI: Yeah, he was laughing and the ball was exactly under his feet, so, yeah, it was funny, it was funny. I could have my drop from there, I still making par, so it wasn't that hard, you know?
Q. Did he ask for anything? A ball or anything?
MARTIN CONTINI: I didn't hear anything, that crowd was like so loud, so I should go find him and give him the ball. I'm going to do that.
Q. What club did you hit up there?
MARTIN CONTINI: From up there?
Q. No, what club did you hit second shot?
MARTIN CONTINI: Second shot it was the 3-wood, but it was from the rough, it was like a really hard and tricky shot. I knew something like that could happen, so it wasn't a surprise.
Q. Can you talk about, you came through the Monday qualifier, right? What do you, what are your expectations when you tee it up Monday? Do you think this could be a magical week or what?
MARTIN CONTINI: I mean, always every time you play a Monday quallie you know it's a long shot, you know. So, yeah, I just went there and tried to makes a much birdies as I can and it turned out fine, so, yeah, it was a great day, it was a great round.
Obviously it was a surprise. I didn't tell anybody in my family that I was going to play that Monday quallie because I wanted to give them a surprise and I could give them that, so it was like magical.
Q. So how did you deliver the news?
MARTIN CONTINI: Oh, I have right here any brother and my uncle, they fly the day after the notice, so, yeah, it's been a perfect week.
Q. First TOUR -- you only get one first TOUR start. What's been the highlight for you and what's the week been like?
MARTIN CONTINI: Yeah, it's amazing to watch this, to see this from the other side. You always see these guys on the TV and they are like your heroes and here they are like the same as you, you know? So that's wonderful to see, that's great and doing this the thing that I can do it this good, it feels so, so good.
Q. What's the opportunity tomorrow? You could top 10 and roll this into more tournaments.
MARTIN CONTINI: Yeah, we were talking with my team and I wanted to set some goals for the weekend. The cut was great, but I didn't want it to stop there, so I'm going to try to reach the top 5 tomorrow.
Q. What would that mean to you?
MARTIN CONTINI: It would mean the world. I'm supposed to be resting this week for the next Korn Ferry TOUR event but I'm happy to be here and I would be glad to be in Puerto Rico next week.
